Some flow yoga classes have a lot more flow than others.Īll the movements are done during an inhalation or exhalation below. In flow yoga classes you often find yourself holding yoga poses. Once you understand the fundamentals of flow yoga you may want to change it and may even find yourself exhaling into your next Cobra pose. If the lungs are being suppressed during a motion it is best to exhale, this happens in Cobra pose but we usually inhale into it, so during backbends this rule quite often does not apply.
